STS Security Guards are at the core of our security services

Security Guards are between 25 and 45 years of age, in good physical form and health, their height is betwen 165.m to 1.85m. Security guards have different training and certification levels. All security guards go through basic customer service training, self defence, first aid and rules and regulations.

STS offers you a security guard that is informed and trained on his responsibilities. In STS we look to train our personnel y develop their skills. We offer to our employees a wide range of courses and certifications.

 

 ENGLISH couRSES (ON GOING)
  • Basic English: This is a course for security guards that are starting for the first time to speak english. Guards learn to greet, offer assistance, directions, and basic security post vocabulary.
  • Advanced English: This course is geared to security guards that successfully finished the basic course and are looking to enhance their english capacities in customer service and security.

 

SELF DEFENSE COURSE  (9 HOURS).
  • Conflict resolution
  • Hand to hand combat techniques.
  • Using the police Baton
  • Hand Locks and Baton Locks
  • Handcuff usage.
  • Submissions.

 

BASIC COURSE, DURATION (12 HOURS): 
  • Security Procedures.
  • Rules and regulations.
  • Security post management.
  • Conflict management.
  • Basic customer service skills.

 

  CUSTOMER SERVICE COURSE  (15 HOURS).
  • Customer service.
  • What are the client’s needs.
  • Steps to take for great customer experience.
  • Values and customer service.
  • Procedures when working with clients.

 

 COORDINATORS COURSE (36 Hours):
  • Security post administration.
  • Basic supervision skills.
  • Being a security lider.
  • How to train security guards.
  • Security procedures for coordinators.
 FIRST AID CouRSE (8 HOURS).
  • First aid Injuries treatment
  • Cooperation with Costa Rican paramedics.
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Medical Evacuation techniques.

 

 SUPERVISORS COURSE (80 HOURS). This is the most advanced course. 
  • Security leadership and management.
  • Training guards on posts.
  • Handling emergency situation
  • Emergency driving skills.
  • Working with Police / OIJ / Fire Fighters
  • Advanced Self Defence Skills.
  • Procedures and regulations.
